Fall Reset

I’ve just come back from a long weekend away with my husband and our good friends. It was a fantastic way to finish off the summer, especially given how the past six months have been. It was a trip that replaced our planned vacation to San Francisco. I was deliberate in trying to stay mindful and present on the enjoyment of our time together rather than the disappointment of losing the original plan.

As my husband and I drove back to Calgary, we chatted about what we are planning on and hoping for ourselves in the coming months. As much as I am always sad to see summer end, I find excitement my “fall reset.” It’s the season in which I find myself reconsidering my routines, goals and plans. It’s a very reflective and hopeful time for me.

The long drive and chat have me filled with a sense of motivation and determination. I’m ready to get cozy, amp up the hyyge factor in my home and plan my reset. Stay tuned for some posts about my reflection and goals setting habits and routines.
