Ladies and Literature

I had bookclub today. It’s a Meetup group of women in their 20-30s, we get together once a month to discuss a chosen book. This month was my choice, and I picked a debut novel by Rosie Price “What Red Was.” I enjoy getting together with a group of women with a passion for reading like myself. It’s also a chance to connect, sharing ideas about not just the story in the book we’ve read but also the connection to our society and world at this time.

Having a bookclub is also a great way to stay accountable and on track with reading goals that I hold for myself. All in all, it was a good afternoon with great coffee, great company and an excellent book.
