The Pepper Bra

"Itty bitty soft and pretty, smaller breasts make better chests." If you have ever been a card-carrying member of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, like me, you too may recall this motto. (Seriously - I had a card in my wallet as a teenager.) In recent years, I began to embrace my small chest; I stopped buying bras that made me appear several cup sizes bustier and gave up on cleavage. I wouldn't say that previously I was ashamed or embarrassed per se, but always looking for the extra padding.

Bra shopping has never felt satisfying. I've often felt like I settled on a bra because it seemed like it would do the job: cue Pepper - the company making bras for small boobs. You've probably seen them advertise on Instagram, maybe scrolled on past yet another ad. If you are a part of the IBTC, I implore you to stop scrolling and check them out.

I would say that Pepper's most appealing claim is "no more cup gaps." They've designed the cups themselves, and they are created to scoop and lift small breasts. I can attest to the fulfilled promise. When I put on my bra for the first time, I was dumbfounded by the perfect fit; the shape and material conformed perfectly, with no gaps. Let me repeat - with no gaps.

Additionally, this bra provides a small, natural lift. I love that Pepper promotes body positivity by reminding us there is no need to appear sizes bigger than we are. There is just enough "oomph" that I still feel I am given good support and shape. Finally, you need to know that this bra is super comfortable, like, I don't feel the need to immediately rip it off when I get home comfortable. This appraisal comes from someone who has been working from home for 18 months, living in leggings and exclusively wearing bralettes.

This purchase is the first time in my life that I have felt excited about a bra. When I wear my Pepper bra, I feel confident and comfortable. I bought the "Classic All You" in Black and Sienna Rose, and I intend to purchase more. So, the Pepper bra is fabulous, but the company's mission to promote body positivity, helping women to redefine typical body standards, and feel confident and proud of their small breasts is a phenomenal bonus.

If you can relate to the challenges of finding a bra with small breasts, definitely check out Pepper bras at www.wearepepper.com. Their mesasurment guide was super easy to use to make sure you get your order right!
