New Self Care

Today, I went for my first facial, and I have a new favourite self-care treatment. I've never been one to go for what I would consider pampering treatments, but recently I have been trying to improve my skincare and decided to book a facial. I wanted to avoid anything chemical or harsh; I was seeking something that would be a good cleanse and relaxing. I found it in the Flora Botanicals Relaxation Facial at Frilly Lilly.

Highlights:

  1. The use of all-natural products that felt light and refreshing.

  2. Unexpected hand and arm massage while the masque was on my face.

  3. It thoroughly debunked my skepticism about a cold face roller; I previously didn't buy into the hype, but it felt incredible.

I will be returning soon for another treatment. It contributed to my goal to take better care of my skin while providing me with an incredibly relaxing self-care experience. I've always struggled with the feeling that I need to justify giving myself these experiences. But I am leaning more and more into a little pampering time, recognizing the broader benefit for my stress relief and well-being.
