Book Review: They Both Die at the End
“They Both Die at the End” by Adam Silvera was amazing, heartbreaking and haunting. I bought this book on a whim when it was on sale in the iBook store, and I am thrilled that it caught my eye. The concept of being contacted on the day of your death, and informed you are entering into your final day was intriguing. The two main characters Mateo and Rufus, were well-developed, felt real and likeable. I was completely wrapped up in the story, on the edge of my seat, waiting for the deaths. There was a little piece of me that consistently wanted some miracle that would change the boys’ fate, but I knew that wouldn’t happen (I mean it’s in the title.) I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this book, and I’m already planning on rereading it.
