Unbound Planner
I am a sucker for wanting to put pen to paper still, and I’ve tried many planners over the years. My most recent purchase was the ‘Unbound’ planner. I’ve had it for a little over half a year now, and I adore it. I purchased the undated since I was starting in September.
The planner starts with a Self-Reflection section, followed by various goals and timeline sections. Then you have your monthly calendars that include the month’s focus, goals/things to do and gifts/occasions.
While I am pleased with the planner as a whole, I have a few favourite features.
1. Each week you get two different layouts; one for your actual seven-day schedule and one that breaks down your weekly goals, things to do and habit tracking. Even better, it has two different to-do lists: easy and bigger tasks.
2. Outside of the actual layout, I adore the planner itself. The size is perfect, and the gorgeous linen cover comes in many colours, all so lovely that it is nearly impossible to choose between them. I eventually went with the charcoal, mainly because I knew that if I got a lighter colour, and it got dirty, I would likely never emotionally recover (I can be a bit dramatic with these things.) While the planner is a little pricey, I am incredibly pleased with it and believe it is worth the investment, and I will definitely be getting another once my year is up. I’ve also been considering the Five Year Journal by Unbound. I’ve tried journaling over and over again, often struggling to keep a routine or to feel like I am writing “enough” or the “right” things. I like the idea of just a few lines to highlight each day. I’m going to look more closely at it and figure out if it is the right purchase for me!
