2023 Reading

Another year is wrapping up, and I've completed another list of books. It's been a busy year. My reading has lessened, but I will still read over 40 books in 2023. I love the Goodreads "Year in Books." Reviewing what I've read over the year and getting stats on ratings, number of pages, etc., brings out the nerd in me.

Over the past few months, I have been trying to cut back on acquiring as many books and the spending that goes along with that. This was prompted by being more mindful of cost, minimalism and sustainability. I've started purchasing more Kindle versions of my books and added Libby to the mix so that I can borrow them as well. I like that these options address some of the above concerns, but I love "real" books. Moving into 2024, I will keep trying to find a balance between all the options.

As for the Popsugar Reading Challenge, I only got through some of the Advanced prompts, but I was able to squeeze in the last few of the Regular prompts in December. Check out the books I read for each prompt here.
