Lizzo

I was incredibly lucky to get to Vancouver to see Lizzo perform this week! Her Special Tour started in late September in Florida, and this show brought her and the Big Grrrls toward the end of the first leg.

None of my girlfriends were available to attend for various reasons, and I thought I wasn’t going to make it, but my husband offered to go with me so I wouldn’t miss out! Incredible man he is.

The show was beyond incredible. The vocals, the dancing, the flute playing, the Big Grrrls, and the band are all phenomenal. Lizzo also promotes the message of self-love, women’s rights and generosity of kindness to others, and she does this in a truly genuine and heartfelt way.

I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to see Lizzo in concert. I never saw live music growing up since I lived in a small, relatively rural area. So, I am incredibly grateful for having the means and access now!
